Our Weekly Cup;

The Strength Within, Letting Go, and Studio Stories

Welcome back to the world of Willy Wonka, we trust you had a marvellous week, just like us. As always, our week was filled with adventures, chocolate treats, new experiences and venturing deep within ourselves in order to resurface better than the version we were yesterday.

Where ever you are reading this from, put on a fresh cup of cacao, get comfortable and come along for the ride through a week of Good Rising Cacao.

Nothing beats a fresh batch of cookie dough slice topped with Earth Blend

Earlier in the week, we ventured into Samplify Recording Studio in St Kilda to record vocals, hang out with amazing beings, have incredible conversations and experience something new and profound.

This recording session was unlike anything either of us have experienced. Firstly, Siniša has never been to a recording studio and secondly, I have never stood in the vocal booth unable to sing through an enormous release of tears.

Why was I crying? Simple. Attachment.

Throughout our lives, we try our hand at many different things. Violin, soccer, painting, mathematics, juggling - there are infinite possibilities and options and we all choose something that sparks our interest and then that interest often becomes part of our identity. For some of us, we become known for that and all of a sudden, that’s all WE know.

Ok, let’s play around with this for a minute.

What is that for you?

What do you do that is so deeply ingrained in your being that it feels like it is you?

Go beyond the mundane, take this moment to be honest with yourself.

Now for the fun part.

Imagine never, ever, EVER doing that thing again.

How do you feel? Be honest.

If you feel like that would render your life pointless, that’s ok. Here is what I recommend for you.

Let it go. Drop it. Focus elsewhere for a minute or a year. Stop doing the thing and learn who you truly are because you are NOT that job, hobby, relationship etc.

We are multifaceted beings who have come here to co-create a life of joy, abundance, fun and love. We did not come here to do one thing, we came here to experience ourselves and this magical world. When we can unattach ourselves from all that we think we are; relationships, family, material possessions, money, personality traits, hobbies, passions - it opens a world of untapped possibilities to expand in to and to access limitless love, limitless joy, limitless fun.

Let me be clear here, unattaching and letting go does not mean never doing that thing you love again (unless of course it’s something that isn’t serving your highest good). It’s simply about recognising that whatever it is has been the vehicle for you to learn about who you are - nothing more and nothing less. But far too often, as we travel the lands of life, attachment is created and now this thing you loved so much has pressure, deadlines, conditions and control all over it. If you have reached this point, that thing you identified with will most likely feel like the vehicle to your own perpetuated pain and suffering.

Through the unattaching we have been navigating this past year and a half, this is the truth that we have uncovered;

It’s not the unattaching that is painful, it’s the attachment.

Once we let go, there is no suffering, only acceptance, trust and excitement because it doesn’t matter where the love or joy comes from, it could be music, it could be cacao, it could be a sunset or a delicious meal, it could be sitting in silence or reading a great book, it doesn’t matter. What matters is how you feel in every moment and the goal is always to feel love.

So what do you need to unattach from in order to end your own suffering?

As the weather begins to shift here in the southern parts of the world, we have been spending a lot of time basking in the glimpses of autumn warmth, gazing at the tree’s changing colours so quickly, stretching with the neighbors cat and enjoying the comfort of our beds just a little bit longer each day.

There is a saying and a belief that begins to surface around this time of year that we are all guilty of regurgitating at some time in our lives and that is;

‘I’m feeling a bit under the weather’.

What kind of programming BS is that? Our bodies are the most intelligent and incredible machines on this planet with a lot of our modern day tech being modelled off our human workings. The machines trying to emulate the human body are totally incapable of being as powerful as we are and yet we are still bowing down to the beliefs that cold weather means we will get ‘sick’.

It’s not the weather that makes us sick, it’s the mindset.

What if we shifted our beliefs and instead chose to believe that we aren’t sick when our nose is running, our bodies are cleansing. We aren’t sick if we are tired and our body is aching, our bodies are upgrading the system.

When we begin to see the body for the powerful self cleansing, self healing machine that it is, it begins to cleanse, heal and upgrade in the background and we don’t even notice it happening.

The body is far more powerful than most give it credit and at no point is it ‘under the weather’ - when you’re truly tuned in, the body controls the weather.

So before the change really sets in, start that subconscious reprogramming now and support your body by trusting that it knows how to operate to its highest capacity.

A short one this week because it’s been a restful one for us. True to what we write about here, this week was one of unattaching from Good Rising Cacao and allowing other elements of our lives to flow through. It’s nice to let go, create space, reflect and slow down.

What will this week bring? I can feel a giveaway coming, that’s for sure.

Come say hi on the socials and as always, thank you for being part of our journey.

Much love,

Kate & Siniša
