Another wild and wonderful week in the land of Willy Wonka. Who knew that creating a company could be so many levels of learning?! Of course, it’s obvious that lessons will be in every step of the adventure but this week has really gifted us with deep wisdom and synchronistic trails.

I trust you have a steaming, thick cup of Good Rising Cacao in your hand by now and are nestled into the comfiest spot in the house. Alright, let’s get into it.

Since birthing Good Rising Cacao (and reading the Celestine Prophecy - highly recommend), the world has become a giant play ground in which we flow between the connectedness of each seemingly individual experience and open up to allow opportunities to find their way into our realities with such ease and joy.

In order to notice the synchronicities, we must be open to receive the idea and have enough trust within to follow it, even when it seems like there is no reason behind it.

This week, I was guided to go for an afternoon stroll to the little forest behind our house. It wasn’t what I felt like doing but the urge was too strong not to follow.

Once I got to the forest, I sat down to meditate and enjoy the sunshine, oblivious to why I had made my way to this exact spot. When I heard some young voices, full of laughter and excitement coming towards me, I felt the energy shifting, something was happening, a co-creation.

Emerging from the scrub, full of life and chatter were three young teenage mountain bike riders.

I sat in awe, watching them launch themselves into tight corners, jump over anything with absolute ease and felt mesmerised by their skill and in that moment, I received the idea, the reason I was in the forest in this exact moment - ‘Ask them if you can capture them riding, for Focus Fuel’.

What followed was an experience into their world that continues to blow me away.

Cam, Flynn and Jacob are three young men, 14 and 15 years of age, pushing their minds and bodies to incredible limits. And they do so with ease and absolute joy for the sport, for the adrenaline.

Building jumps so they can fly through the air, walking up and down a very short run over and over again, each time perfecting their lines just that tiny bit more to gain greater momentum and speed.

Having spent my early years surrounded by high level competitive motocross and supercross (thanks to my incredibly talented older brother), witnessing these young athletes in their element brought back a lot of excitement and thrill that can only be found in extreme sports.

We have since found out that all three boys are dedicated competitors in the mountain biking community, they possess quite the entrepreneurial mindsets and are lovers of chocolate, the perfect combination for future collaborations between Good Rising Cacao and Cam, Flynn & Jacob.

It pays to keep an intuitive eye on those random ideas, they may just lead you to a path of unexpected and exciting new connections to co-create a moment of adventure and a future of opportunities.

Cam Tozer, flying high

The synchronicities did not stop there. I was mid Shakti Mat journey when Siniša received a request from our beautiful friends to lend a helping hand with home renovations. Immediately I saw our marketing strategy float into view. Synchronicity at its finest. I think so.

We have had a vision for Good Rising Cacao from the very beginning to offer up a healthy (and in our opinion, much more luxurious) option to coffee. Too often we have spoken with coffee drinkers and found out that almost everyone struggles with addiction to coffee, withdrawals if they don’t have their daily cup, dehydration symptoms, anxiety, fatigue, irritability - honestly, the list of side effects is ridiculous.

Any good marketing plan has a long list of target audiences and one of ours has always been tradies, after all, Siniša is a qualified builder and painter so it makes sense to start with the areas we love and understand.

It takes a lot of physical strength, mental clarity and connection to create as a builder, electrician, plumber, carpenter, painter, mechanic etc and almost every trade starts early in the morning, requires attention to detail and a calm emotional state.

Let’s be real for a minute, coffee ain’t helping any of those needs to be met. Sure, it will get you up and out of bed but by 9am, the crash begins and the dosage needs to be topped.

So, we gathered up some Focus Fuel and headed into the big smoke to put our coffee alternative to the test on a certified coffee drinker with a big day ahead of painting and renovating.

The result? An entire day of focus, high vibes, a job finished with precision and care, laughter by the bucket full and a positive review to ‘swerve coffee and get on to Good Rising Cacao’.

We’ll take that and head excitedly into the land of supporting those that are building our homes, fixing our blocked toilets, repairing our cars and wiring our lights.

Speaking of tradies and building, Siniša has been busy creating a new addition to our factory. After many hours sitting hunched over at the weigh machine, we decided it was time to level up on the OH&S and create a more enjoyable weigh station.

We made a decision to create every part of Good Rising Cacao ourselves for the joy of learning, of knowing how all elements of our incredible company feels and operates so that we deliver a unique experience to you that is filled with intention and connection.

This process of creating all elements ourselves has turned us into incredibly fast and resourceful problem solvers. We have had endless situations surface that could have stopped us in our tracks and seen us walking away from it all but instead, we chose to see everything as an opportunity to expand into a greater version. We have shifted, rebuilt and improved every single element since beginning and we will continue to do so as evolution is the aim of the game.

All of this week we opened up a giveaway for our calming, restorative blend, Soothe & Restore. We had an incredible 60 entries and gained 10 more epic community members on Instagram - thank you to everyone who got involved and shared us to your communities. Giveaways are an incredible way for us to connect with you, build brand awareness and share our creations with someone who is desiring it most.
